Humans find animals fascinating because they are the only other living thing on this planet that can move and think for their own. They may not be able to communicate with us but their actions, their behaviors and their lifestyles are interesting to explore. Zoos are a great place to be able to observe animals and to watch them go on about their activities. They are usually a great tourist location that can be frequented with families. Kids always get excited about watching animals in safe environments and a zoo is a perfect place for them. While it may be difficult to go to the zoo too frequently, you can always get involved with animals and get your children all excited by downloading a zoo game. Family Zoo is a story driven zoo game where you get to manage your own zoo and help it grow.

Family Zoo starts off with a small introduction about the game and its background. The main character gets a letter from her aunt detailing how she is going on a vacation and wants you to take over the zoo and to build it anew. The game then starts with the main character at the zoo which is a total mess that needs a lot of renovation. The basic storyline of the zoo game is that you have to get the zoo up and running once again and need to keep all the animals in a healthy and playful mood as well.
The zoo game approaches the game by dividing the gameplay into two sections. The first section is storyline driven where you attract animals and run repairs within the zoo in a step-by-step manner. The second section is puzzle driven where you earn the in-game currency required to perform all the tasks within the actual story.

The story driven section is where you will find the main developments in the game. Each task comes with its own scene where you can see the conversation between different characters. The conversations are skippable but if you want to get a feel of the game and the progress you are making, the scenes are a good watch. Frustratingly enough though, the zoo game does not offer you the chance to control any of the characters without performing tasks through the match-three puzzle games. The graphics of the zoo are beautiful with the characters, animals and all other sections extremely wonderful.

The match-three puzzle gaming is very simple and works very similarly to other games of the same genre. You are offered a tutorial in the first few rounds where you get used to the game's rules and how it is played. There are basically objectives related with each level and you need to complete those objectives in order to earn in-game currency that can then be used to make improvements within the zoo. The levels keep becoming more difficult as you make progress with the required objectives also becoming difficult to achieve within the set number of moves. The puzzles are challenging but you can still get through each level sooner rather than later.
